Week 0-6: Reality Sets In...

Matt and I having been planning this pregnancy for quite sometime, but nothing prepares you for the second pink line on that magic stick... I couldn't believe how fast I ran through so many emotions... Confusion, disbelief, excitement, fear, and even a little resentment... And as the weeks have begun to pass, I am really starting to believe that this little monster has it out for me! I guess I should consider myself lucky that I'm not living with my head in the toilet bowl, however, it's kinda tough to count your blessings when you feel like dookie all the time... I've realized that it is actually very similar to a Crohn's attack with constipation... Yes, for those of you that have not had the pleasure of pregnancy, I have found that many times it is easier to barf than poo. I understand that most of you have also not experienced a Crohn's attack, so think of the worst hangover you have ever had... It's like that without the joy of drunken debauchery the night before. All that said, I am looking forward to the relaxing days of trimester #2.

Um, can I just say that the title of this blog brings to mind something other than gestation? I'm just saying...
